Pyro Mallets: Time Expectations & Safe Use
Here's what to expect next:
We make these drumsticks to order; we do not carry stock of these as they are a high labor item; we use experienced pyrotechnic flow toy users to hand tie the mallets heads. Your order will be sent out when both the mallets and pads are ready.
These unique products are fruits of artistic labor. Their handmade quality takes time and skill, and for that reason, orders will be fulfilled in the order that they are received, and there is no option to rush their fulfillment.
You may email us at any time to receive an update on the status of your order
Safety:
The heads of the Pyro Mallets are not flammable, as they are made of kevlar, and do not come with accelerants. Accelerants, such as white gas, may be purchased separately.
It is mandatory for you to educate yourself prior to the responsible use of our Pyro Tenor Mallets. Please refer to your local fire troop, fire safety inspector, and this online resource included below to orient yourself with how to be safe regarding fuel choice, environment, weather conditions (including wind), safety measures in place, spinout & reclamation of fuel, and clothing choice.
Do not strike your drum head without precision or without the presence of the Pyro Drum Head Cover.
Always spin out the mallets prior to ignition to remove all liquid gas from the mallet. Excess amounts of gas in the mallet may result in the release of liquid gas on fire onto yourself, others around you, and your other surroundings.
The Pyro Mallet's burn time for a properly spun out mallet using white gas is approximately two minutes thirty seconds to three minutes thirty seconds.
Toots & Booms does not take responsibility for the improper use or practice with the Pyro Tenor Mallet and is not liable for damage done to any person or property.
With your responsible use, we are excited for you to elevate your drumming performance to unprecedented levels with the Pyro Tenor Mallet.
